Nesting Challenge
Spring is in the air in Fairyland, and it's the perfect time for the birds to start building their nests.
But they can't do it alone - they'll need a helping hand from the Fairies and Elves of Fairyland... which means it's time for a brand new Fairyland Seasonal Challenge for Spring: Nest Building!
After you've set your Garden up with a Nesting Tree, and flowers/food to attract birds, remember to help your friends complete their nests by spotting birds in their Gardens for them!

Building a Nest
First you need a Nest Tree which is available as a free gift for sharing with friends. The next thing you need to do is attract different birds to your Garden to build a nest in it (5 different birds per nest). Every 5th of each type of bird attracted and spotted will add a bit more to the nest.
So as an example, if you have so far 3 Wrens, 17 Mallards and 11 Magpies, you need further 2 Wrens, 3 Mallards and 4 Magpies to have a total of 5 Wrens, 20 Mallards and 15 Magpies to complete the nest. Clue: Hummingbirds are also birds.
Here's a link to a free completed Nest (only 1 per Garden).
After a while, nests will need some repairs, as each one can host up to 5 eggs (one after the other). After those 5 eggs were incubated and hatched, the readiness of the nest goes back to 80%, and you'll have to set-up your Garden again to attract the birdies to help you out.
Clue: nest parts added by Hummingbirds don't ever need repairing, so if you can manage to build yourself an all-hummingbird nest then you'll never need to repair it.

Incubating Eggs
Hunting for the Easter Bunny in another one's Garden while having an empty nest in your Garden, will add an egg (dropped by the Easter Bunny) to your nest. Then, by leaving some Bird Mix on a low table, will make the incubated egg hatch soon.
Tip: If you have two low feeding tables with birdmix in your garden while incubating an egg and as less competition as possible, you might get yourself twin baby chicks ;)

Birds that help you build the Nesting Tree
All of Fairyland birds (except chicks and Cuckoos) help you build nests.

Easter Eggs Hatching by Color
Different colored eggs (see them all here) hatch different colored chicks, so, for example, the red egg only hatches red chicks, but the violet egg randomly hatches any color chick (with equal chance). More info on the chicks in the Seasonal Wildlife section.
Every 10th Easter Rabbit you spot in someone else's garden drops a Rainbow Egg, if you have an empty nest in your garden.

Message from the Nesting Birdie
Hello! What a beautiful garden you have here. And this nest seems like the perfect place for me to lay an egg!
But first, I have a little task for you, which is to help out in a few other gardens by spotting their birds for them.
I will lay my egg after you have spotted your 5th speciffic birdie in other Gardens (you have so far spotted 2, which means you still need to spot another 3.)

Egg wobbling message
Your Fairy has watered the Daffodil - thank you!
The egg just wobbled and is starting to crack... This means that the chick will hatch within 30 minutes!
If you wish, you can share the news with your Fairyland Friends so they can visit this Garden and try to spot it too!

Message if your Garden is frozen..
Did you know? If your Garden was not frozen and you had an empty nest in it, then the Easter Bunny would have dropped an egg for you!
