Updates Monday, April 09, 2012
It's been a long time since we've updated Fairy Garden, but I do hope that we've covered all that had happened in Fairyland in the last few months.
One of the most important news is the wonderful Spring Seasonal Challenge that brings us the possibility to build nests and attract cute, little new wildlife: baby chicks. We've gathered some information about it on the Nesting Challenge page and will try to complete it soon.
If you find any information you think might be wrong or incomplete, please send us a message and we'll be as grateful as possible ♥
Will try to answer to all of your form entries by the end of the week.
Thank you so much for understanding.
Happy Easter, dear fairies and elves!

New critters in Fairyland Tuesday, 17 January, 2012
Three new critters arrived in Fairyland on 13th, 14th, and 15th this month. • The first one was the Camel. It's attracted by the fully grown Saguaro Cactus and eats veggies from any feeding table. You might also want to plant a Stella Velleflora to deter the many Geckos visiting gardens with cactusses. • The second one loves ants, so much that you might say he's an anteater, but he's not. He's called the Aardvark and he eats seeds from low feeding tables. • And the last, but not the least, the Ferrett. He likes all the cross-breed flowers, but he can't make up his mind about which one he likes most on a particular day. Check out the Wildlife Guide (levels 1-10 and 10+) for a bit more info and the Fairyland Wildlife Guide, later this week, for the final info. |

Snowmen in Fairyland Thursdayday, December 8, 2011
I'm sure most of you already know all about it by now (I'm not going to use excuses for not posting the info sooner because it won't help) but I will give you a link to Maryjane's thread from the forums about these fun to build Snowmen (that is if you haven't found out about it by now): http://www.fairylandgame.com/fbfairy/forums.php?tid=6452 If you have no friends that can send you the snowman or other available seasonal plants, check the Self Gifts page on how to get yourself some. Good luck! |
Winter seasonal plants Wednesday, November 30, 2011
The Ice Flower, Poinsettia and the wonderful Christmas Tree are available for you and your friends to gift. Find out more info on the Seasonal Gifts page and on the Wildlife page but also check the Fairyland News page for the links ;) After all these great news, it seems that Mike and his team has prepared a surprise for us that will come this week: The Christmas Tree is the last of our regular festive plants, which means that we're all set for this year's brand new surprise... which will be arriving later this week :) Can't wait to see what it is :D |
Sagittarius Zodiac Flower Monday, November 21, 2011 This pretty flower, called Sagittarius Astroflorus, will attract the Centaur once it reaches the 'ready for harvest' stage, the zodiac wildlife that drops the blue topaz every 10th time you spot it. Use this birthstone to make cute baby elephants. Check the news for links to send it to your friends or to share it on your Facebook wall. |
Poppy Sunday, November 6, 2011 It's November and the Poppy is again available for you and your friends to share. The lovely Peace Dove comes to your garden once your Poppy is ready for harvest, dropping two diamonds and a Forest Sunlight seed for every 10th one you spot. |
Mother & Baby Friday, November 4, 2011
Have you attracted babies by now? If you did, set up your garden for the adults and the mothers will come to take the spotted babies, leaving behind the same amount of diamonds that the babies drop and also 100 gold for the first one spotted in the garden. Also, you might need to place the food on low platters.
This is what we've found out from the forums, so it's not yet confirmed but worth trying ;)
The Mother Tortoise says: Hello there, I'm so glad that you spotted us! We just returned to this Garden because my beautiful baby was born here, and I wanted to thank the garden's owners for their kind help. Would you be so kind as to pass on my gratitude to them? Thank you so much!'
We'll post updates if we find out more!
Update (November 21, 2011)
Mothers & Babies have been added to the Wildlife Guide and it seems that the idea from the forum of being able to attract the mommies only after you've previously attracted 10 babies to your garden has been confirmed.
Check the news and the guide for more info.

Scorpio Astroflorus Friday, October 21, 2011 Scorpio's zodiac flower is once again available to plant. Send it to your friends or share the link on your Facebook profile page from the Fairyland News. Remember that every 10th zodiac critter drops a birthstone seed needed to attract sweet babies to your garden, so stop reading and start hunting :) |
Scorpio Astroflorus Friday, October 21, 2011
Halloween will be here soon so the Fairyland team has prepared a spooky
surprise for us: besides the dark background and witches flying on
brooms, we can now decorate our gardens with spiderwebs too.
For that, you'll need Trick or Treat Flower seeds which are dropped by every 10th ghostly critter. Check the Fairyland News page for the spooky Halloween Flower links and more info. |
Update (October 17, 2011)
The Trick Or Treat flower can be planted in any pot you like and can bring you a trick (background effects like spider webs, creepy ghosts flying around or spooky cat eyes in a dark background) once it's ready for harvest, or a treat (50 gold) when you harvest it.
About the pumpkin faces: once you harvest the Halloween plant the face will disappear, unfortunately.
Here are the available halloween pupmpkin pots pictures, if you wish to see them all together :)

New cactus available Friday, October 7, 2011
This new cactus is called Organ Pipe Cactus and, when fully grown, it attracts a small creature named Pink Fairy Armadillo. This little fella's arrival has brought 1000 gold for each of the first and randomly selected correct answer at the 'Guess the critter' contest on Fairyland's Facebook page. Well done, fairies! But you should know that you can plant this new cactus only after you've unlocked the previous cacti sets found at the shoppe. A new magical pot is also available (as you can see in the picture to the left) which will bring you a desert carpet in your garden, if you have any fully grown cacti in it. |
Pink Elephant Saturday, October 1, 2011
To attract Pink Elephants, you will first need to attract the regular Elephant to your Garden, and also have one or more flowering Pink Plants (Limited Edition available in October.) The more flowering Pink Plants, the greater the proportion of pink to regular Elephants should visit! Some Fairies have also reported Pink Elephants visiting their Gardens after consuming a little too much elderberry wine, however this is not the recommended method of attracting them *hic* Don't know exactly what that means, but I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually :D |

Pink Fairyland Saturday, October 1, 2011
Pink Ribbon Plants are available again through the Fairyland Gift Shoppe. They attract Flamingos and make your garden's sky turn pink if you plant them in your garden. It's the way Fairyland helps raise awareness about breast cancer. And even better news - the sending limits have increased for Fairyland gifts, and you can now send a Pink Ribbon Plant to anything up to 50 friends a day, whether they're already on Fairyland or not! |
Enchanted Rainbow Mushroom Friday, September 30, 2011
Could this enchanted mushroom be the last of them? You'll need to have reached Wildlife Level VII to plant the Enchanted Rainbow Mushroom and attract the Rainbow Unicorn. We haven't seen it yet, but we bet it looks stunning. It will look like it's made out of porcelain and might have a wonderful rainbow colored mane... |

FairylandGame.Com Thursday, September 29, 2011
As from Wednesday, September 28, 2010, all fairies and elves will be able to play Fairyland outside Facebook!
All you have to do is login with your Facebook account, as always, and you'll be able to play, without distraction, your favorite game :)
The new design looks wonderful and it does work faster.
We think (don't know yet because they're still working on it) that it will have a great forum which will also include the so wanted search engine. Yaay! can't wait :D
These are the new improvements:
» Gardens and other pages should generally load faster.
» Fairyland is now also available outside of Facebook at http://www.fairylandgame.com (this has been one of our most frequent requests!)
» You can quickly and easily delete all messages from your Garden Wall using the new [x] icon at the top
» There's a new "preferences" option where you can remove some of the 'Are you sure?' boxes to speed things up even more.
» Any gifts you receive from now onwards can be accepted/deleted from inside the app simply by clicking the new 'gift' icon top right.
Check the Fairyland News for more info.

New Fairyland arrivals and an announcement of many more to come Monday, August 1, 2011
Two new arrivals in Fairyland today: an Elephant and a Deer (this time, more info in the Levels 1-10 category). By the end of August, a new Wildlife category is going to become available for attracting and/or spotting too... :) |
Leo Astroflorus Thursday, July 21, 2011
Leo Astroflorus is now available for you and your friends. Check the Fairyland News for links. Unlike all the other zodiac wildlife, the Lion drops 3 diamonds and we think that the reason might be that it's Mike's sign :) Although it's on August 20 (in exactly one month minus one day :P), we want to be the first to wish a supermegagiga HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, Mike ♥ We hope all your dreams come true and may you continue to delight us with wonderful Fairyland surprises for as long as possible! |
The last hummingbird and the new wildlife announcement Wednesday, July 13, 2011
The final hummingbird's name is the Blossomcrown, more info on it here. The announcement of the final hummingbird might means a closure of the hummingbird chapter, but it's not going to be a bad thing. More wildlife is announced (a new category, in fact) and they are not going to be introduced one by one, as it was the case with the hummingbirds, so stay tuned... :) |
New birdies coming! Friday, July 5, 2011
We are welcoming 2 new birdies to Fairyland, can you guess which ones and what attracts them? Let us give you a hint: both are attracted by plants which 'fruit' into different variations, and the more different variations you have in your Garden at the same time, the stronger the attraction power! Update: The new birdies are the Crane and Jackdaw.. :) More info here. |

June's Hummingbird has arrived! Friday, June 24, 2011 Some more rubies to attract the latest hummingbird are needed. You can find more specific and detailed information here. Just a reminder: the first listed flower is its favorite, so feel free to plant more of those. |

More novelties appearing in Fairyland Tuesday, June 14, 2011
Yesterday the Fairyland creators have introduced a special offer for all of you fans that need an extra dose of gold... but since times are tough, they have introduced a special
(limited time only) offer. You can check it all out here. Along with this news, there have been rumors of a new fuzzy creature with a sweet tooth; has anyone heard of the game Crash Bandicoot? Well, meet the star himself, the Bandicoot! Not much is known so far, it seems to be feeding on Low Tables with Veggies, and attracted by Dulcis and all Dulcias. More on the Bandicoot soon... :) |
Update (June 15, 2011)
Another addition to the Marsupial family (so far we have met the Sugar Glider and the Bandicoot), is the Wombat. This one is a bit harder to get, since it is rare, and to attract him to a garden, a combination of plants is needed, but also deterrents to keep the other Marsupials out of the garden and off the plants. More info on the Fairyland's latest arrivals can be found here. |
Shorter alert times: 1 hour turned to 30 minutes! Friday, June 10, 2011
Fairyland creators have once again made your opinion count and made the application more adapted to your needs. The alert times for all critters, including Endangered Wildlife, Hummingbirds, Butterflies and Caterpillars have been shortened - from 1 hour to 30 minutes before spotting. This way less gold is spent, but unfortunately more Wildlife might be missed in gardens not prone to having lots of visitors.

As announced... Wednesday, June 8, 2011
New "regular" wildlife is coming, starting this Friday. One of the hints is that he's a difficult one, so that should clue in the name of the plant needed to attract it. Since the plant required has to be RFH, unless you already have it planted in your garden, you won't be able to attract it this Friday. It will also require a certain garden level, so the question is: have you already unlocked the required seed?
Happy guessing! :)
Update (June 11, 2011)
It's here! The newest fuzzy is called a Sugar Glider. So far it has been spotted in gardens with a RFH Dulcia Saccaflora or a Dulcia Glaciaflora feeding on the both Tropical Fruits and Veggies, both Low and Raised Tables. Since these bear sweets when RFH, we're guessing that Dulcis and all Dulcias will attract it. So it's available from level 32 and up. 6 diamonds for the first spotting, 3 for every other... Happy spotting everyone!

The Butterpillaflora bonus seed Tuesday, June 7, 2011
The Butterpillaflora bonus seed is available for the fairies that have unlocked all the 7 butterpillafloras. Please check the Butterpillaflora section for more info. A Rainbow Butterfly is also announced to appear; more on the butterfly soon.
Enjoy!
Update (June 9, 2011)
The Butterpillaflora can host a chrysalis with any caterpillar and once it flowers, it will turn into a beautiful Rainbow Butterfly in 50% of the time. Also, you don't have to wait for it to flower in order to plant another one and host a chrysalis, the only limit is the space in your garden ;)
And the last, but not the least, magic that the butterpillaflora does, is to bring the wonderful Rainbow to your garden. This happens only if it's planted in the Rainbow cup and only while your butterpillaflora is sparkling (attracting any butterfly). The same info is posted on the Backgrounds page.

New Wildlife coming soon! Wednesday, June 1, 2011
Fairyland's creators have announced the coming of the new wildlife to Fairyland very soon.
It won't be critters like the fluttery butterflies that stay for a minute in your garden, these will be a bit lazy and hungrier than the wildlife before mentioned. They will be feeding for a longer time in your garden, therefore be easier to spot and will also require some of the existing plants, we're guessing the ones that had no attractant power until now. But who knows, it will definitely be a very welcome surprise! :)

Did you know? Saturday, May 21, 2011
Just like the Fairyland creators made it more fun and rewarding by adding a new "feature" on the Fairyland's Facebook homepage, we've decided to add a section to our Fairyland fan website and calling it 'Did you know?' (it's located in the Help section of the page).
It's going to contain all the fun info formed in the question/answer form from the weekly asked questions, so you can always check the answers, whether you're having a discussion with someone concerning your Fairyland knowledge, or you need the info in order to plan the garden correctly.

30 minutes Butterfly alerts instead of 1 hour! Thursday, May 12, 2011
We've seen Fairylanders asking for this change just a couple of days ago and it seems that the developers had already made it happen. Since yesterday, all the butterflies will announce their visit within 30 minutes.
As mentioned in the title, only butterflies have 30 minutes alert; all the other endangered wildlife and also the caterpillars, still have 1 hour alert in which you can try to spot them.
Although some might think that it's not such a good change because more might be missed in the quiet gardens, others are truly happy to know that they can spend a bit less gold when hunting butterflies!
Please remember however that the butterflies and caterpillars are intended to be a long-term challenge (many Fairylanders had been requesting something a little more challenging for a while), so you won't just be able to speed through them all one after the other, and will often need to pause for a while to stock up on seeds. But if you still find that the butterflies are not really your "thing", remember that they're only one small part of the game, and are completely optional... and in Fairyland, there's always something else exciting and new just around the corner :)

Mother's Day Bouquet Friday, May 6, 2011
Just like the Fairyland players wished, a Bouquet especially for the Mother's Day has arrived as a limited edition gift. It's available in the seed shoppe until May 8th (Mother's Day) to send to your friends or you can get one for yourself from the Self Gifts's page. It doesn't attract wildlife but it's awfully nice to see! :)
There's also an announcement of a possibility of the reappearance of the Mother's Day Bouquet since this day is celebrated worldwide but on different dates. So get on to gifting and make Fairyland gardens a bit more flowery and even a bit nicer (like that's possible :) )
They're here: Butterflies, Buttterpillafloras and Supershroom! Tuesday, May 3, 2011
They have certainly been worth the wait. Fairyland's butterflies will, at first, start out like all butterflies - as caterpillars. You will be embarking on a mission to make them wake up from their cocoon as gorgeous butterflies. Find all the info you needed at the Butterflies section and be sure to read everything because, this time, things could get a bit tricky... especially with the needed combinations of Butterpillafloras.
There is also a new magical mushroom arrival in Fairyland - the Supershroom. It will both attract caterpillars and temporarily deter Common Wildlife and Mythological Creatures. This could be rather helpful when trying to attract rare Fairyland wildlife without stumbling upon mischievous myths.
As a special bonus, new features are FREE for 3 days, so hurry up with your (free) purchases...
Update (May 4, 2011)
Gunnvor Karita made a great Guide to the Mystical Butterflies so we've thought: it's a 'must-share-document' ;)
New wildlife countdown Saturday, April 30, 2011
Yes, it should be here very soon, starting Tuesday. New info released from Mike is that the new plants will be using new currency: instead of coins, you will be spending Jewel seeds you (probably) already have, since the ones needed will be Rubies, Sunlights and Ambers... And one of the new plants will have special powers... woo-hoo!
So... on to collecting some more and to biting our fingernails in expectation of the new fuzzies attracted by the new plants! We can't wait!!

How to easily refresh your garden and/or messages Thursday, April 21, 2011
The Fairyland creators have added a few extra perks to make it easier on us all Fairyland fans... Two "new" features: [refresh garden] and [refresh messages] have been added to the left and bottom of your garden. This way you can easily refresh both your garden/someone else's garden, without needing to repeatedly press F5 to refresh the whole webpage. It's so much easier and more practical this way that the way it was before... Wouldn't you agree? Especially when hunting for wildlife :)
Update: the refresh garden feature has also been added to your/your friend's garden name so you can refresh the garden more easily...

"Coming soon" to a Garden near you... Sunday, April 17, 2011
Very soon, after the Wabbit season is done and the Great Fairyland Bunny Hunt is finished, we will be welcoming a couple of new faces to the great world of Fairyland - no, there won't be a Duck Season, you Elmer Fudd fans :)
A lot of people are wondering when will the new creatures from the "Coming Soon" tab in the Wildlife Guide arrive... so now we all know.. These creatures will be very different from all the ones we got used to so far... But, as announced, I'm sure it will be a very welcome change, just like all the other changes were so far... :)

Almost Easter again... cute bunnies take over Fairyland Friday, April 8, 2011
In the spirit of the good old Elmer Fudd's: Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits...
Here comes that time of the year again.. the race is on! Who is going to spot more bunnies? The Fairylanders have reset the meter, so it's time to start from scratch. This year, the prizes are just as great as last year's, if not better! Every 1000th Bunny spotted (the 1000th, 2000th, 3000th etc.) will be worth 100 extra Gold and there are also a few Bunnies worth 1000 Gold out! So be sure to be on the look-out for gardens with flowering Daffodils and low tables with veggies because the bunnies are worth 2 diamonds + 5 gold EACH! Good luck and have fun! |
More animated wildlife... Thursday, April 7, 2011
Today, there was a very welcome message from Mike indeed.. :) there is more wildlife that is no more frightened as it was when you spot them before - they used to get so frightened that they had stopped moving... they probably drank some courage potion, so now, after you spot them, they carry on with their everyday actions... have you seen which ones are newly animated? ... for now, there are 10 of them, and they are referred to as the 'original' wildlife, so they have been with the Fairyland family for a while..
Update: So these should be the 10 chosen ones :)

New Hummingbird!! Tuesday, April 5, 2011
With the arrival of April, a new hummingbird is introduced, this one requiring even more seeds...
The Violet Headed Hummingbird will require you to spend a little more attention than before on planning your Garden setup, since the seeds required here attract the Antillean Crested Hummingbird too. Remember that the first flower listed for each hummingbird is its favorite.
This hummy has its eye set on the Enchanted Forest Emerald, maybe you should plant more than one...
Good luck!

New Enchanted Mushrooms Thursday, March 31, 2011
They're called the Enchanted Golden Mushrooms and they attract the Golden Unicorn.
You'll need to reach Legendary VI to be able to plant it and attract the new Unicorn, which means that you have to earn 35.000 dimonds from spotting/attracting wildlife.
That's a lot of diamonds, but we're sure that the reward matches the effort :)
New Star Dust Feature Tuesday, March 29, 2011
You can now use Star Dust to freeze your background effects for a week!
For a single sprinkle of Star Dust, you now have the option to keep all 'background effects' which you have grown in your Garden without needing to keep the plants which produced them :)
Special Bonus: For 1 week (Until April 4th), this feature is actually FREE to use and experiment with!
(i.e. no Star Dust will be deducted when you use it :)
Check the Fairyland News for more info.

New warning feature available! Monday, March 21, 2011
Due to a good report with the Hummingbirds'early warning feature, there has been a similar feature introduced by the Fairyland creators for the Rainforest Wildlife. From now on, you'll know whether you're barking up the wrong tree and tempting the mice out, or fishing out other cute and fuzzies :)
This is the message you get after watering, for example, a garden that's set up for the Orangutan:
"(Fairy) has watered the Forest Ruby - thank you!
And look - the food just started sparkling! This means that some very elusive Endangered Wildlife (in this case, an Orangutan) will be feeding here within the hour!
If you wish, you can share the news with your Fairyland Friends so they can visit this Garden and try to spot it too!
[Share With Fairyland Friends]"
And this is the message shown on the profile after you share it with your friends:
Quick... try to spot the Endangered Wildlife!
You just noticed that this Endangered Wildlife is due to feed in a Garden very soon!
If this post is less than an hour old, then there may still be a chance of spotting it feeding - but be quick!

"Supermoon" brings new magical powers to Fairyland Sunday, March 20, 2011
Due to the last night's "Supermoon" that cruised over the night's skies, some magic happened in Fairyland too.. one of the existing Magical Pots gained some new powers, which will be revealed when the correct plant becomes Ready For Harvest in it! See a preview on the Backgrounds page.
Aries Astroflorus Saturday, March 19, 2011

Shamrocks, Leprechauns and Hats Saturday, March 12, 2011
Shamrocks are available as free gifts for you and your friends! It attracts Leprechauns when fully grown aaaand, if you're lucky enough to get a 4-leaved one, you'll get shamrocks on the ground in your garden, but only when fully grown. See a preview on the Backgrounds page.
It's the time of year for growing a Shamrock in a Leprechaun's hat!
Will you be lucky enough to grow a 4-leaved one?
And will the Leprechaun be wanting his hat back, we wonder?!
Edit (Monday, March 14)
The Shamrocks have some surprises for you once they are ready for harvest:
• If you harvest the 3-leaved Shamrock you'll receive 5 gold;
• If you harvest the 4-leaved Shamrock you'll receive 25 gold;
• If you have a little patience and don't harvest the 4-leaved one yet, you'll get a Rainbow in your garden.
Edit to edit (Thursday, March 15)
We thought that this Rainbow will stay just like the one that comes with the First Flower of Spring... we were wrong.
It came when the 4-leaved Shamrock was ready for harvest, and since then, the fairies have been waiting for it to reappear but he didn't :( We'll update the information on the Backgrounds page as soon as we'll know for sure.
Meanwhile, you can check these threads about the Rainbow and the Shamrocks:
RAINBOW and POT OF GOLD with RTH Shamrocks!!!!
Clovers 3 versus 4 leaf is there a way to tell difference early

Oldnews Monday, March 07, 2011
You probably know about these from the Fairyland News page, but, altough I've updated the site, haven't posted it on this page yet, so here it is:
• Return of the Original Rainbow Pot! Saturday March 5th
Because there were so many requests about the Rainbow Pot (limited edition pot in June 2009), the Fairyland Team made an exception and reintroduced it in the limited edition section at the Shoppe.
It's available only for the next 2 weeks and you can exchange it for 2 Forest Ruby Jewels each.
• Some Small But Useful Improvements... Thursday March 3rd
Small but useful improvements indeed :)
Remaining Growth Time: To help with your Garden planning, you can now see how far advanced plants are towards being 'ready for harvest' (a percentage is shown, and if you hover over that then you can also see the actual time remaining.)
Storage improvements: Your storage shelves can now hold 7 items each, and will magically arrange themselves so that pots of the same type are always found together :)
• New Magical Pot! Sunday February 27th
It's a Rainbow Cup pot and the magic happens if you have a 'ready for harvest' Bellis Lycaena in it. It will change the colour of your garden's sky into the colour of your Bellis. You'll find more info on the Backgrounds page.

First Flower of Spring Saturday, January 29, 2011
The First Flower of Spring is now available to send it as a gift to your friends.
As most of you already know, when it's in full bloom, it attracts the Groundhog; it seems that this year you'll need more than one flower to attract him. Read more on the Fairyland News or bellow.
Spring Is On The Way... And There's A New Mystery To Be Solved! Friday January 28th
According to Fairyland folklore, when the Groundhog awakens from his winter hibernation and leaves his burrow to nibble on some tasty Veggies, it's a sign that winter will soon be over and spring is just around the corner!
The Groundhog is attracted to any Garden in which the First Flower of Spring is growing...
Note: After a particularly cool and snowy Fairyland winter, the Groundhog is a little harder to awaken than usual this year, meaning you may need more than one 'First Flower of Spring' in your Garden to help attract him. However, he now carries 4 Diamonds for every time he's spotted, and also drops the much sought-after Forest Emerald seed for every 10th time you spot him :)
Finally, we know that many Fairylanders enjoy the occasional mystery to solve, so there's also a new hidden surprise waiting to be discovered involving this seasonal flower - can you figure out the Garden setup required to reveal it?
Happy Gardening!

Aquarius Astroflorus, the new zodiac flower, is available and it attracts the Pelican.

New wildlife: Hummingbirds Tuesday, January 18, 2011
The first Hummingbird that arrived to Fairyland is called 'Antillean Crested Hummingbird'. Check the Hummingbirds wildlife page to find out more about this creature with unique behavior.
Click on the picture to the left to see how it looks in the garden.
Along with the Hummingbirds came a new background too. See it on the Backgrounds page.
Hummingbirds! Monday January 17th
You may have noticed that new wildlife has started arriving in Fairyland today - Hummingbirds!
It is strongly recommended that you read the information provided about hummingbirds in the Wildlife Guide - not only does it tell you how to attract them, but it also tells you about their behaviour - which is a little different to other Fairyland wildlife!
Hummingbirds should prove a lot of fun to spot, since when someone discovers that one is due in a Garden very soon, the news can be shared with friends so those who are online can head to the Garden and take turns trying to spot it :)
Only one type of hummingbird has arrived in Fairyland so far, but look out for more arriving over the coming weeks...
(Of course, attracting/spotting hummingbirds is entirely optional, so if the new twist they add to the game is not for you, then you can just stick with the regular wildlife as before :)
Enjoy!

General Game Improvements Monday, January 17, 2011
A major new category of wildlife is being released into Fairyland today, and ahead of this, we have introduced a few improvements to some aspects of the game, based on your feedback and our observations of things which we haven't got quite right yet...
Accuracy of Timings: All of the times shown in Fairyland (for wildlife arrivals etc) are shown in "days & hours", "hours & minutes" or just "minutes" (the seconds are never displayed.) This led to some confusion with some players wondering why they hadn't spotted an animal when it appeared that they had watered at the exact same time it arrived (the reason is of course that they watered a few seconds before it arrived - the seconds were just not being displayed.) We have now changed this, so that for all times less than 1 hour, the seconds are now also shown - so the times you see will now be "days & hours", "hours & minutes" or "minutes & seconds" (note that the seconds are truncated again as soon as the time is more than an hour.) With the new seconds display, it's fun to see just how quickly some wildlife gets spotted!
Reporting Of Wallposts: Unfortunately, a few Fairylanders have reported to us that they have received unpleasant messages from other players, sometimes for simply spotting wildlife that the other person was hoping to spot in a Garden. We do not tolerate any unfriendly messages being sent within the application for any reason, so we wanted to remind everyone that every post in Fairyland has a 'report' link next to it, which you should use to report any inappropriate messages confidentially to us. We will then deal with the problem as appropriate, and you need do nothing else (except delete the post / block that person if you wish.) We have recently improved our behind-the-scenes moderation system to help us deal with reported problems much more effectively, to keep Fairyland fun and friendly for everyone :)
Blanket Watering: "Blanket watering" is a term coined by Fairylanders for the practice of watering all plants in a Garden (often one which is set up for sought-after wildlife) and then keeping them watered in order to block others from getting a chance at spotting wildlife there. We receive regular complaints about this - some people were even accusing others of using 'bots' to blanket water for them! We have therefore decided to resolve this problem for good by removing the ability to blanket water a Garden and block everyone else from watering. Anyone can now water any plant in any Garden whenever they wish to do so. Therefore, spotting much sought-after wildlife is now all down to timing/intuition/luck (as well as knowing where some of the quieter, but well set-up Gardens are!) rather than having enough Gold to 'blanket water' or the fastest computer/mouse-clicking finger :)
These changes should improve the game for everyone and help to reduce many of the problems we currently see being reported.

The two new magical pots (White Marshmallow and Old Boot) had brought many discussions on Fairyland Forums in the last week ½. After reading most of them, we've managed to gather a bit of information and post it on the Magical Pots page. Once we know for sure all about the magic they bring, we'll let you know and complete the description.
There are also a few combinations with these pots on the Backgrounds section, in the lower part of the page, so be sure to check it out!
New Magical Pots! Saturday January 8th
Two new 'Magical Pots' are available in the Pot Shoppe from today, in exchange for Diamonds.
The White Marshmallow is available in the lower Garden Levels and the Old Boot is available in the higher Garden Levels.
Magical Pots are a little different to regular pots - they each hold a magical secret which is only revealed when the correct plant is grown in them... but which are the correct plants for these pots? (Hint: The Old Boot's effect can only be seen when the White Marshmallow has already worked its magic!)
There are also a few combinations with these pots on the Backgrounds section, in the lower part of the page, so be sure to check it out!

The Poinsettia Tuesday, November 30, 2010
Beautiful Poinsettias are now available as gifts for sending to friends!
It's flower attracts not only the Cardinal, but also the newest Fairyland visitor - Robin. Although most of you might say 'What does it has to do with Christmas?', some of you do know that this little bird is the symbol of Christmas in the UK, also known as Britain’s national bird, officially declared so in December 1960. Here are a few facts about Robin.
New Zodiac Wildlife Monday, November 22, 2010
The Centaur is attracted by the 'ready for harvest' Sagittarius Astroflorus and it seems that he eats Nuts from any feeding table; I suggest you use the high one for less visits from common wildlife.
Update: A small glitch meant that the new Sagittarius wildlife was eating the wrong food (nuts!) - this is now fixed and he now eats veggies as advertised (he also still eats nuts, for anyone who has left nuts out already.) Apologies for any confusion caused.
Turn Fairyland Red Sunday, November 21, 2010
I just saw a thread on the Fairyland forum called Turn Fairyland Red! and wanted to share it here so that we can support The Red Ribbon Army. They need 1000 overall and only have 313 petitions; with your help, it will be done in no time :)
Just click the link bellow to sign the petition:
World AIDS Day Action in Fairyland ~ Fairyland was all pink for breast cancer, we now need to turn it RED to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS as 'World AIDS Day December 1st' approaches! Please sign and share this petition! Thank you all and stay safe!

The new Zodiac Flower is now available Sunday, November 21, 2010
The Sagittarius Astroflorus Plant is available until 22nd December.
We don't know yet what type of wildlife attracts but we do see that it's adorable :)
Check out the Self Gifts page to see how to get one for your garden; if you've already got your link, just use 2026 for the flower code ;)
Baby Unicorn Monday, November 15, 2010
Have you seen the new visitor of Fairyland?
He's a Baby Unicorn and only visits gardens containing a 'ready for harvest' Enchanted Baby Mushroom.
I'll have to thank Sanja again for helping me with the Baby's picture, she caught her first one and gave me the recorded image so I can post it here, for you to see :)
The original image size is on the Mythological wildlife page, along with part of the info (don't know it's Fairyland page yet).
Enchanted Baby Mushroom Friday, November 12, 2010
The new mushroom attracts the Baby Unicorn and you can plant it when you've reached Wildlife
Level V. You can find out a bit more information about it on the Magical Mushrooms page.
Backgrounds Friday, November 12, 2010
There's a new page on the site - Backgrounds - and it's about how to get those special backgrounds for your garden (for example what plant you need, if it needs sprinkles with star dust or how long it lasts). You can also find a few combinatons with these plants, the results are really interesting :)
Poppies are here! Friday, November 05, 2010
Send your friends a Poppy to grow in their Gardens!
The Poppy will be fully grown after 2 days, and ready for harvest after a further 2 days, when it will attract beautiful Peace Doves!

Pumpkin Pots Tuesday, November 02, 2010
Here I am, coming with news not so new, but still...
I guess you all know about the Witches that fly around your garden for three days after the Halloween Flower is ready for harvest, and that during this time, ghosts of mice and mallards visit the garden and bring double the amount of diamonds that usual mice and mallards do.
What I really wanted to tell you is that once the plant bears fruit, it's pot will gain a funny halloween face. It seems that Mike has prepared 50 different halloween pots and I've managed to gather them all; you can see them here. The faces will appear only for the Halloween Plant's fruit, vanish once you harvest it and won't appear for any other plant.

About the news Monday, October 25, 2010
Sorry for not keeping you up to date with the news... I would have written it by now, but I had some problems with the text editing on this page (dunno why) and it's working now.
Here are the updates:
• Rearranged the Wildlife Guide pages according to your votes
• Pink Pots on the Flower Pots page
• Pink Marshmallow pot at the Magical Pots category
• New Level 1-10 wildlife: Piglet
• New zodiac plant: Scorpio Astroflorus
• New zodiac wildlife: Scorpion
Can hardly wait for the new Halloween plants and the background it will bring along, hope it's as cool as the one from last year!

White Unicorn Wednesday, September 29, 2010
The new enchanted mushrooms - Enchanted White Mushrooms - bring to Fairyland the gorgeous White Unicorn when ready for harvest.
He is attracted by Veggies from any* feeding table and when you spot him, the reward is 16 diamonds (32 for the first one in the garden). It also drops a Forest Amethyst Seed if you've been busy as a bee or/and lucky enough to have spotted your 10th one.
* It is preferable to use the high feeding table to attract the rare wildlife that can eat from both tables, because there are some common wildlife that can't reach the high one.
Help with the self-gifting issue Wednesday, September 22, 2010
There's a new page at the Help section named Self Gifts that has info about how to plant a seasonal or zodiac flower without asking a friend to send you one.
Got the help from Sanja, again, and from a few forum posts like this one:
How do I ... send myself a zodiac gift?
Thanks ♥

Libra Astroflorus Wednesday, September 22, 2010
Most of you say that this Astroflorus has a really pretty flower, but I say it's the most beautiful of them all because Libra is my sign :D
What we know about the Libra Astroflorus is posted on the Constellations page, is not much but we will find out more about it and about the wildlife it attracts soon. The Fairyland Team's hint is:
Leave either Bird Mix or Veggies out on a low table for them!
Have a wonderful morning/day/evening/night!
Albino Wildlife Monday, September 20, 2010
Unfortunately, we don't have all the info you need about these interesting creatures, but we've managed to gather some with help from a friend ♥ and a bit of forum-browsing.
It seems that the Albinos drop a large amount of diamonds but come to visit not so often.
You can find more info here and here.
The Zebra and Two Magical Pots Tuesday, September 07, 2010
Were you curious about the 'Magical Pots' and what they do?
Well, it seems that these magical pots have the ability to torn ordinary fairyland plants into special ones. Some might change the way your garden looks and some might attract new wildlife, like the two new Black Pot and White Pot. If you plant Tulipa Praecocias in these pots (you'll need them both), the Zebra will visit your garden.
It's not yet posted on the Fairyland Wildlife Guide, but I've wrote a bit of info about it on the General Wildlife page.
The Stork and "The Virgin" Monday, August 23, 2010
Virgo ("The Virgin") is the sixth sign of the Zodiac and when it reaches Ready for Harvest stage, it attracts the Stork. It seems that it eats Bird Mix from Low feeding table only (from what I know) and gives you 2 diamonds when spotted (double for the first one caught in the garden).
I'm curious about the connection these two have, maybe it's an antagonism between "The Virgin" and the fact that the Stork brings babies :P
New Limited Edition Pots Thursday, August 12, 2010
Three Flowering Eggcups and a Flower Vase can now be exchanged for Rubies or Diamonds at the Shoppe. These are only available until approximately 1st of September so get them while you can. Luckily, these aren't that expensive in comparison with the premium one, so I guess you'll have enough time to get a few of them ;) See them here too!
A handful of new Limited Edition pots are available in the Pot Shoppe from today (Wednesday,
August 11) - this month, they've gone all bright and flowery! These eggcups were originally discarded by humans but happily rescued by the Recycling Fairies who painted them lovingly with flowery designs before putting them out for sale in the Shoppe!

New Wildlife: Marsupials Monday, August 2, 2010
Fairyland Says "G'Day" To Its First Marsupials!
Sunday August 1st
Look out for the first Marsupials arriving in Fairyland today!
The Marsupials are attracted to the green and gold colours of the 'Aureus' flowers. These are only available for planting in the highest Garden Levels, but of course everyone can enjoy trying to spot them while working up to those levels!

Leo Astroflorus and Enchanted Black Mushroom Wednesday, July 21, 2010
Yes, the new Leo Astroflorus plant is available. You can see the info about it on the Constellations page.
If you click it's picture to the left, you'll get one for your garden.
A new enchanted mushroom is available also, it's called the Enchanted Black Mushroom and it attracts a Black Unicorn. You need to reach Legendary III to attract this rare fella, that is you'll have to earn 15.000 diamonds from spotting/attracting wildlife.
Good luck!
Rare and True Limited Edition Pots Friday, July 9, 2010
New Rare & Limited Edition Pots! Thursday July 8th
Tired of the same old Garden pots?
Great news - a new range of Limited Edition Pots is now available in the Pot Shoppe, which you can buy in exchange for items you have collected on your Fairyland travels (Diamonds, Forest Jewels etc.)
These new pots are true Limited Editions - each is only available for a limited time, and after that time has passed, it will never be available for purchase again.
There's something for everyone in this new Limited Editions section, from moderately priced pots (but not so cheap that you don't need to work for them!), to super-rare 'Premium' pots, for the more dedicated Gardener to work towards.
If you have any suggestions for pot designs you'd like to see added to the Limited Editions section in the future, please leave them on the "Ideas & Suggestions" board on our forums page... they may just appear in the Shoppe some day soon!
You can also find them on the Flower Pots page, here in Fairy Garden.

Changes Thursday, June 24, 2010
I've recently found out that the Enchanted Magical Mushrooms will be available on the same page as the Magical Mushrooms page in the Fairyland Shoppe, so I've moved back the Enchanted Pink Mushrooms at the bottom of the Magical Mushrooms page.
I'm sorry for this mix up created... I'm not Legendary II yet and I assumed that it would be on a different page, just like the Enchanted Jewels of the Forest.
The Winged Unicorn is on the Mythological wildlife page now, but with not much information about it. More of that will be available soon.
Thank you for understanding ☺

Winged Unicorn Wednesday, June 23, 2010
Don't have very much info about this beautiful creature, other that it likes veggies on high feeding table and that it must be a rare creature because it drops 12 diamonds (24 for the first caught in the garden).
A sweet friend helped me with the info for the mushie that attracts it and with the picture also. Thank you Sanja ♥
Constellations Tuesday, June 22, 2010
Since there are going to be various Astroflorus plants available, I've decided to move them from the Seasonal Gifts (the Limited Edition page became the Seasonal Gifts page in Fairyland also) to a page created especially for them: Constellations.
If you see anything wrong, please contact me and I'll correct the information as soon possible. Thank you!

Enchanted Pink Mushrooms Monday, June 21, 2010
It seems that there's a new diamond level available in Fairyland and it's called Legendary II. This level is the hardest one to get because you need to have earn 10.000 diamonds to achieve it. Once you have reached this level, the 'Enchanted Pink Mushrooms' will be unblocked for you to plant. Here's more info:
Wilts if not watered for 36 hours (Dies if not watered for 72 hours)
Fully Grown after 3 days (Ready for harvest after 7 days)
Deterrent Effectiveness: Excellent
Attracts (When Fully Grown) Unicorn, Pegasus, Phoenix, Griffin, Golden Dragon, Rainbow Dragon, Water Dragon
Attracts (When Ready For Harvest) Winged Unicorn
Upon successfully harvesting this plant, an additional 10 sq ft of rainforest will be protected.
Thank you Kim for this wonderful information ♥
Edit (Wednesday, June 23, 2010)
There's a new page for this type of mushrooms: Enchanted Magical Mushrooms
Thank you again Sanja, for the info that completed the page :)
Cancerian Astroflorus Monday, June 21, 2010
The second zodiac plant is ready for you to plant or send it to your friends! The Cancerian Astroflorus attracts the Crab, when it's reay for harvest, with any type of food but on low feeding table only. If you wish to plat one, click the flower image to the left :)
Site updates: The Enchanted Jewels page is on with all the info you need to know, but with only a part of it's images posted (will try to post all of the available ones as soon as I can).
Great news! Sunday, June 6, 2010
The Fairyland team has made wonderful updates to Fairyland, I'm sure most of you already know this, but for the ones that haven't found out about it yet, here's what you should know:
• Regular and Organic food will now attract wildlife at a slightly faster rate on average (these new timings are displayed in the Shoppe.)
• Superfood is now a little more super! It still attracts wildlife at the same super-fast rate, but one plate now lasts for 10 feedings, so you don't need to worry about replacing it so soon.
• We have altered Garden Levels 1-9, removing the requirement to grow different colours of plants in order to level up. Now, harvesting just one of each will unlock the next level - a simple change, but it should alleviate a lot of frustration and wasted Gold for the new Fairyland Gardener! (Note - if you are currently on one of these levels, and have already met the new requirement for your level, then you will level-up when you next harvest any plant.)
They also say that over the coming months some parts of Fairyland will be improved to help make things better for everyone.

Endangered Wildlife Sunday, June 6, 2010
Discover the new Endangered Wildlife and find out how you can attract it to your garden. Of corse, the pictures with them aren't available yet, all we have now is the Toucan, but more of them will be coming soon!
If you've been lucky enough to have found a few Enchanted Forest Jewels on your travels, then these can now be planted! Plant them alongside standard Jewels of the Forest (and a few herbs, and of course a good mushroom) and try to entice the elusive Endangered Rainforest Wildlife to your Garden!
Site updates: The Pushmi-Pullyu has been moved from the Seasonal page to the Zodiac page. Can't wait to find out what kind of wildlife will the next zodiac plant attract!
Site updates coming soon: Informations about the Enchanted Jewels of the Forest will be posted in the next few days...
Late Updates Thursday, May 27, 2010
First of all I wish to say I'm sorry for not updating the site sooner but it was a very busy period for me and, sadly, didn't had enough time to take care of Fairy Garden.
Second - I've moved the news to the home page because I thought it's the best way to see what's knew here.
And last but not least, I've deleted the Fairyland News page from the site but will try to post the additional information here as soon as anything new shows up in Fairyland.
You can see the original Fairyland News in your Fairyland Facebook application at the News section.
Thank you for visiting/using Fairy Garden!

Star Constellations Thursday, May 27, 2010
Zodiac Flowers with Star Constellations are in Fairyland!
The first available is the Gemini Astroflorus (the picture to the left shows it in the ready for harvest stage) and you can plant it until June 20.
With a sprinkle of star dust on the plant, your garden's background will turn into a night sky and project the Gemini Costalation.
Gemini Astroflorus attracts the Pushmi-Pullyu when it's ready for harvest if you have a low or high (recommended) feeding table in your garden.
You can find more info about the plant at the Limited Edition page and for the cute wildlife it attracts, at the Seasonal page.
Rainforest Wildlife Tuesday, April 6, 2010
Updated the Jewels of the Forest page and added the new wildlife to the site at the Rainforest page in Wildlife category.
None of these have all the images of the flowers and wildlife but most of them will be added soon. If you have any questions, objections or need help, just ask :)

Earth Flower Thursday, March 25, 2010
Updated the Limited Edition page on Fruits section with the Earth Flower.
Click here to get one for your garden.
Your Earth Flower will bloom in time for Earth Hour on Saturday 27th March. When flowering, you will get the option to sprinkle it with Gold Dust which will turn the lights out in your Garden for 1 hour (aim to do this for 8:30pm, your local time, and remember to turn your real lights out too of course!!)
For more information about Earth Hour, visit www.earthhour.org
Jewels of the Forest Friday, March 19, 2010
The Jewels of the Forest page has been added to the Fruits section.
Most of the information on the page was collected from Amanda's NEW Wildlife Jewels Log topic on the Fairyland's official forum, so credits go there.
Thank you Amanda ♥
Here's the basic info: every 10th, 20th etc. of the same wildlife spotted, drops one Jewel of the Forest.
Let's say you've spotted your 10th Field Mouse then the message should be:
"Fairy" watered the "Plant", and spotted a Field Mouse feeding on the Veggies!
1 Diamond Earned!
You have now earned "number" Wildlife Diamonds overall! [info]
This Diamond has also been added to your total available for spending.
The Field Mouse also dropped a rare 'Forest Ruby' seed!
If you have 39 Field Mice spotted already and you spot the 40th, you'll get only one Ruby, not four (it's counted since Fairyland was updated with the Jewels page on the Seed Shoppe section).
Note that only the wildlife you spot in other gardens are taken in consideration, not the ones spotted in your garden. You can check the number of wildlife spotted on your Fairy's profile page or under each wildlife's name at the Wildlife guide page in Fairyland.
For more information you better read that topic :)
Good Luck!

Time to rest... Tuesday, February 2, 2010
It seems that the site is finally finished. There are a few more touches to do but for now I think that some sleep would do me so well :D
Nighty nite and sweet dreams to all ^.^
